Check out my twitter if you are looking for the "day-to-day"

Not a whole lot to report right now. I've been making "deposits" for next season. Gotta have the physical, mental and emotional bank chalk full this time of year. It won't be long before the miles and "at home" time are getting cashed in during races and when on the road.

Congrats on a great Giro Brent. 3 weeks of racing. Wow! That's almost as challenging as 120+hrs in a cubicle. Ha!

Well done man!

Brent, I know you are a super busy dude right now. When you have time, I'd love to get your insight on the tib/fib fx you sustained. I was hit by a car in May 2009 and sustained 16 fractures, a few of which were in my left tib/fib. I subsequently had an intramedullary rod placed. I had to have the rod replaced due to a non union fracture.
Anyway, I myself am a cat. 1 cyclist and a professional triathlete/duathlete and also a 2:34 marathoner. My leg is terribly sore, and I want the rod removed. I was just wondering what your medical experiences were. I have read several forums, but all the folks seem to be skiers and motorcycle riders. I'm more interested in hearing from someone who puts similar stresses on his legs. Thank you so much.
